The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Detective Cerjio “Marty” Martinez. (Ret.) Detective Martinez passed away on Sunday, December 14th at the age of 85. (Ret.) Detective Martinez served the El Paso community from December 1953 until retiring in September of 1992. Marty worked the majority of his 39 years at Identification & Records (ID&R).
Mr. Martinez was also a long-time contributor to the EPMPOA’s Silver Badge publication with his “War Story Chronicles.”

Thursday, December 18, 2014:
-Visitation from 5:00 to 9:00 PM
-Rosary at 7:00 PM
At Martin Funeral Home-Central, 3839 Montana Ave.
Friday, December 19, 2014:
-Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 4805 Byron St.
Procession following the Mass to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery for interment.
