The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association reports that Ron Martin will continue to serve as President of the EPMPOA, after recently being elected to another term in office. Martin defeated challenger David Hernandez in a union leadership election held last week (August 10-14, 2015).
Mr. Martin commented: “I am deeply honored to be your President and will always strive to do what is right for all members of this organization and represent each of you in the most professional manner. I would also like to thank Sgt. David Hernandez who has served for almost 15 years on our association board and has dedicated his time and energy for all of us."
President Ron Martin will be sworn in at this year’s EPMPOA Installation and Awards Banquet and Dance on Saturday, October 17, 2015, along with the other incoming Class I and Class II Directors who were unopposed; New 2nd Vice President Eddie Jaquez, Region I Directors Mark Campos, Rick Prangner and Christopher Widman; Region III Directors Vince Macias, Andy Cintron (new) and Julio Sanchez (new); and Region V Directors Rick Yanez and Saul Villalobos.
