The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Deputy Chief Servando Blanco at the age of 78. He passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
(Ret.) Deputy Chief Blanco served the El Paso community as a peace officer with the El Paso Police Department for almost 29 years. He was commissioned in September of 1958 and retired in October of 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; daughters: Christine Blanco Bonicoro, Esther Velazquez (and her husband Stephan), Barbara Blanco Chorley, Andrea Tolliver (and her husband Michael); beloved granddaughter, Alexandria; and grandsons: Joshua and Jacob.
