The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association coordially invites its members to join us for an evening of baseball fun with the El Paso Chihuahuas on Saturday, June 20, 2015!
That day, the EPMPOA, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Officers Association and the El Paso Firefighters Association Local 51, will host a "First Responders & Superhero Night" at Southwest University Park, as the El Paso Chihuahuas face off against the Salt Lake Bees. Game time is at 7:05 PM, but we ask that you plan on being there early for the following pregame events:
4:30 PM: Homerun Derby Competition between Teams from the Three Associations
• There will be three Batting Teams, each made up of 6 players representing each Association.
(The EPMPOA is proudly being represented by Officers Mark Campos, Otto Herrera, Esteban Villalobos, Nicholas Villalobos, Armando Reyes, Marco Marquez-Rodriguez and Justin Luna)
The top two hitters from each association will move onto the second round, and then the top hitter from each Association goes onto the finals to determine the winner. Cheer on Team EPMPOA!
• Pre-Game will feature a joint color guard and Karla Martinez will sing the National Anthem.
• The American flag will be suspended between two Fire Department ladder trucks on Missouri Ave.
• There will also be Union Presidents pre-game video (Let's see what Ron Martin has to say!)
• The "First Pitch VIP" representing the EPMPOA and EPPD will be A.J. Arrellano, son of Fallen Officer Adrian Arrellano.
Tickets for the game are available for purchase with cash, check or credit card from the EPMPOA Office, 747 E. San Antonio Ave., #103, during regular business hours.
