The El Paso Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force will be hosting the 2012 Texas Association of Vehicle Theft Investigators (TAVTI) Conference in El Paso, Texas from October 15th thru October 19th, 2012, at the Camino Real Hotel.
You are cordially invited to join us for the opening ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, October 16th at 10:00 AM.
This conference will provide Law Enforcement training and an opportunity for nearly 200 attendees to network and share intelligence with officials from surrounding states to include Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arizona, and Mexico in the area of auto theft and its role as a gateway crime.
The TAVTI Conference will also feature the below listed outings:
-Monday, October 15, 2012, we will have the Golf Tournament at 2:00 PM at the Vista Hills Country Club located at 2210 Trawood. (Entry fee: $55.00 per person). See attachment for registration form.
- Tuesday, October 16, 2012, is Lo Jack night at Muggs Bar and Grill located at 11410 Montana (starts at 6:30 PM).
-Thursday, October 18, 2012 a social evening will be held starting at 6:30 PM at Aceitunas Beer Garden located at 5200 Doniphan.
In addition, the hospitality room will be open on a daily basis from Sunday through Thursday night and will be stocked with beverages and snacks for conference attendees.
The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is proud to have assisted the EPPD Auto Theft Task Force in helping to sponsor a portion of this conference. The EPMPOA will have a vendor table at the conference with association novelties for sale.
