Greetings,
There have been several issues that have come up regarding attempts to login to the EPMPOA website. From what I am hearing from several officers, any attempts to login requires you to re-enter you login information. It occurs while trying to navigate throughout the website. Here is the issue you are facing both at home and work.
"Most login problems relate to cookies not being accepted or cookies being corrupted in the browser that the user is browsing the website with. Generally this is only an issue in the Internet Explorer browser, mostly in newer versions.
If cookies are not accepted in the browser or the cookies become corrupted, the user will login to the website successfully, but when they then try to navigate to a members only protected page they are directed back to the login page."
To fix this issue in the Internet Explorer browser try the following steps to clear out IE:
Open IE , navigate to your website, then push the F12 button on your keyboard.
That will open a separate window.
Choose the Cache menu, then click "Clear cookies for this domain.."
Close all IE windows, open a fresh browser window, go to the site and login.
If clearing the domain cookies doesn't help add the website address to the trusted sites list:
Open IE then navigate to the website you want to login to, then click the tools menu, then click internet options. Click the security tab.
Click the trusted sites zone at the top of the window, then click the sites button.
Un-check the require server verification (https) box.
The website address should already be entered into the add this website box, if not type the website address in, and then click the add button.
Close the window, push ok on the internet options window, then try logging into the website.
Hit CLOSE, then re-log in.
If none of these options clears the issue in IE, then it is best to try downloading an alternate browser like Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. Try logging into the site with one of these browsers. If successful then the issue is a plugin or other security setting in IE that needs to be adjusted.
Regards,
Otto
