The El Paso Police Department held a promotion ceremony on Monday, September 22, 2014 in the Chief’s Large Conference Room at Police Headquarters. Although smaller than the last promotion ceremony held in June, those promoted, their family members, loved ones and co-workers were equally excited and in a celebratory mood!
Police Chief Greg Allen got right down to business after some opening remarks and proceeded with the ceremony at which the following individuals were promoted:
TO DETECTIVE RANK:
-Mission Valley Regional Command Center Traffic Officer Alisha Williams #2597;
-Central Regional Command Center Officer Paul Mata #2572;
-Westside Regional Command Center Officer Jesus Moya #2712; and
-Pebble Hills Regional Command Center/Public Information Officer Javier Sambrano #2828
TO SERGEANT:
-Mission Valley Regional Command Center Officer Joey Baur #1872; and
-Pebble Hills Regional Command Center Officer Jose Alferez #2617
TO LIEUTENANT:
-Pebble Hills Regional Command Center Sergeant Mary Ann Estrada #1988
It appears that, at least for now, those promoted will remain at their respective regions pending transfer. Visit the Photo Gallery page of the EPMPOA’s website to view photographs from the ceremony, courtesy of the EPPD/Photo Lab.
The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association congratulates those members who were recently promoted and wishes them the best in their future endeavors.
