Matt Jones is a loving father, devoted son, loyal friend and a proud member of the El Paso Police Department.
On April 15th, Matt suffered a severe stroke to the left sid of his brain caused by a blood clot that traveled into his coronary artery. Later that evening, the great doctors, nurses and medical staff at the Las Palmas Hospital performed surgery to clear the blockage. Matt was intubated and sedated for a few days in order to let his body heal. At this point, the stroke has affected the right side of Matt’s body including his speech. While the long term effects of the stroke are unclear, his doctors, family and friends remain hopeful.
Matt and his family have a long road ahead of them. The future is uncertain and they need our help. Medical expenses, physical therapy and the possibility of long-term care are serious hardships.
While no amount of money can change the situation, it will help alleviate stress and help Matt focus on recovery.
Please consider a donation to help Matt through this difficult time. Your generosity will not be forgotten. THANK YOU!
