The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Officer Daniel W. Christman #445, who passed away in Temple, Texas on July 4, 2018, one week shy of his 67th birthday.
(Ret.) Officer Christman served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 21+ years. He was commissioned by the El Paso Police Department on March 21, 1975 and retired on August 2, 1996. After retiring, Dan worked as a Federal Department of Transportation agent in Ft. Worth until retiring from there in 2006. Prior to joining the El Paso police department he served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 through 1973.
Funeral Services for (Ret.) Officer Daniel W. Christman are as follows:
Thursday, July 19, 2018:
-A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Belton VFW Post #4008, 2311 S. Pearl St., Belton, Texas.
-Following the memorial service, there will be a graveyard service at 2:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, on Texas-195 in Killeen, Texas.
