The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Detective Nancy J. Schneider #438, who passed away on July 30, 2018, at the age of 66.

(Ret.) Detective Schneider served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 21+ years.  She was commissioned by the El Paso Police Department on March 21, 1975 and retired on November 29, 1996.

Services for (Ret.) Detective Nancy Schneider will be held at a later date and location as determined by the family.  For additional information contact Darcy Pailliotet (Aunt) via email at: djpailliotet@gmail.com

Locally, at 7:50 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2018, the El Paso Police Department Honor Guard will raise a U.S. Flag at Police Headquarters, 911 N. Raynor St., and will fly the U.S. Flag for 24 hours in honor of Retired Detective Nancy J. Schneider.

On Friday, August 3, 2018, at 7:50 AM, the EPPD Honor Guard will lower the U.S. Flag and will fold it.  The flag along with letters of commendation from her personnel file will be sent to her sons Benjamin and Rudy Schneider.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association offers our most sincere condolences and asks that you please keep the entire Schneider Family in your thoughts and prayers.
