The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association urges all members, if at all possible, to opt-in to the yearly Shared Leave Program.  The open enrollment period to participate in the Shared Sick Leave Program (sworn officers) has started and will continue through February 17, 2012.

Please complete the attached form and submit it to Payroll before the deadline.  Remember that if you do not contribute at least 8-hours of leave (sick leave or vacation leave) to the pool, you may not be able to benefit from it should you have a need later in the year. 

Attached you will also find a memo from the City of El Paso's Human Resources director further explaining some of the details of the program.
