The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association will host its annual “Cops Helping Kids” Christmas event this Saturday, December 15, 2012.

The program will take place at Target, 801 Sunland Park Dr., and will begin with officers arriving at 7:30 AM.  The EPMPOA would like to thank Chick-Fil-A, McDonalds and Starbucks who will provide food and coffee for the early morning event and of course the wonderful staff and management at Target for their continued support.

Selected children from underprivileged families in the Ysleta and El Paso Independent School Districts will arrive shortly after and will be teamed up with an El Paso Police Department officer from the various regions and Headquarters.  Together they will then pick out clothing and gifts for the holiday season.

Several local businesses and individuals have made donations for this year’s program.  Thank you for your generosity.
