The Junior Woman’s Club of El Paso is hosting the 11th Annual “Spring Swing” Golf Tournament on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course.
The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association is once again sponsoring a 4-person team to participate in this tournament. The cost is $100.00 per player ($400.00 total) and includes entry fee for a round of golf, golf cart, continental breakfast, beverages on the course, and a luncheon with fabulous door prizes!
The EPMPOA sent out an e-mail to members and retirees who are registered on the EPMPOA website (www.epmpoa.org) requesting they submit their name and contact information if they were interested in having their name included in the drawing. Two members from the general membership were selected to play with two board members.
Just after the deadline of 12 Noon on Friday, April 19, 2013, a drawing was held from all entries received. The two members selected from the general membership are: Detective (Ret.) Tommy Lawrence and Ed Gonzalez (HQ). They will team up with Region VI Director Otto Herrera and Parliamentarian Adrian Nevarez and participate in the golf tournament as the EPMPOA’s team.
