The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Detective Daniel Beltran #364. Det. (Ret.) Beltran passed away on Friday afternoon, June 14, 2013, just ten days shy of his 61st birthday. He worked with the El Paso Police Department from February 1973 until his retirement at the end of December in 1998. Danny, affectionately known as “Big Bird” to his friends, was also a long-time EPMPOA Director and Hall Manager.
Services for Mr. Beltran are as follows:
VISITATION: Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Chapel.
INTERNMENT: At Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave. after funeral service.
