This weekend,and in the next two weeks, the El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will be hosting three (3) events.
*EPMPOA Annual Children's Christmas Party
This event will be this Sunday, December 15th, from 1200-1600 Hours at the association hall, 3601 Rutherglen. This party is for our association members and their families. Food, games, toys and activities will be provided and Santa Claus will be present the entire day for photo opportunities. Please make plans to attend and bring your children.
*"El Paso Cops Helping Kids" Christmas Shopping Event at Wal-Mart (Formally the Shop with a Cop Program)
Wal-Mart and El Paso Cops Helping Kids needs your assistance shopping for Christmas gifts for a group of under privileged children. We are asking that you please find the time to volunteer on Monday, December 16th at 0800 hours, at the Wal-Mart located at 9441 Alameda Ave.
Approximately 50 Children are eager to meet some of :El Paso’s Finest", so make plans now to attend what is sure to become a GREAT EVENT FOR CHILDREN in our community. Members are asked to please be on site by 0700 Hrs.
*"El Paso Cops Helping Kids" Christmas Shopping Event at Target (Formally the Shop with a Cop Program)
The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is proud to announce the 2nd Annual "El Paso Cops Helping Kids"™ Holiday Shopping Event to benefit underpriviliged children. This program is designed to unite El Paso Police officers with local less-fortunate school children to inspire them through positive reinforcement and help them flourish within a supportive community. The event will take place on Saturday, December 21st at the Target store located at Bassett Place Mall. Each child will be eligible to receive new shoes, several winter clothing outfits and a toy. The children will be selected based on need from the three following school districts: E.P.I.S.D., S.I.S.D. and Y.I.S.D. We are hoping to provide for at least 200 children, and hopefully we can sponsor more in the coming years. Members participating are asked to please be on site at 0700 Hours.
