If you dont already know, HR has released the new Drug & Alcohol Testing Policy. Read it. Know it. Its here and will be incorporated into our Policy and Procedures manual ASAP. EPMPOA has attached the new policy under downloads for your viewing enjoyment. Remember, if you believe you need representation for any issue, call your Union President or any Association Director.

Be aware of the existing support group in effect.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officer's Association has been in contact with an Alcoholic Support Group made up of fellow law enforcement officers that would like to start a new program for our officers. The program is totally voluntary and is also totally confidential. The program is a group of law enforcement officers from all over El Paso helping each other deal with the affects of alcohol on your personal life and professional careers. It's free to all of you and is in a very safe confidential environment. If you are interested please attend or call me and I can get you the help you may need. Meetings are held every Monday from 1800-1900 Hrs at the CLEAT Office located downtown at 747 E. San Antonio, Suite 103. Parking is free in front of the building.
