Fellow Association Members,

     Applications for the EPMPOA Ben Ayala Scholarship  are now being accepted. The application (attached form) is available for your convenience to download and print out .   In order to be eligible to apply, applicant(s) must be a 2014 high school graduating senior and a son/daughter of an active duty EPMPOA member in good standing.

The deadline to submit all applications will be April 15, 2014 .

The applications may be mailed or hand delivered to:

EPMPOA Office - 747 E. San Antonio Suite 103 - El Paso, Tx. 79901. If mailed, applications must be received by set deadline.

An independant panel (comprised of educators/college professors ,etc ) will review all submitted applications and make their final selections for award recipients.  The number of scholarships to be awarded and the amounts to be given will be determined by the number of applicants and the funds available in the Ben Ayala Scholarship Fund.  In the past, the monetary amounts of the scholarships have  ranged from $500.00 to $3,000.00.  A final determination of award amounts will be agreed upon by majority vote of the EPMPOA Board of Directors.  The scholarship recipients will be announced and presented at the May 2014  EPMPOA General Membership Meeting.
