The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Detective Manuel Barrios Martinez #201.  (Ret.) Detective Martinez passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014.  He served the community as an El Paso Police Department officer from December 1968 until his retirement on December 31, 1987.

Services for Mr. Martinez are as follows:

VISITATION:  Friday, March 14, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM, with a Rosary at 11:00 AM at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home, 1755 N. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas

FUNERAL MASS:  Friday, March 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd., El Paso, Texas

INTERMENT:  At Ft. Bliss National Cemetery after church services (approximately 2:30 PM).
