The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will hold the inaugural Fallen Officers Memorial Run, in memory of Officers Angel Garcia and Jonathan Molina, on Saturday, May 24, 2014. There will be 10K and 5K races as well as a 1-mile walk.

All events will begin and end at the EPMPOA Memorial Hall, 3601 Rutherglen St. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the El Paso Police Memorial at Chuck Heinrich Park.

Registration is as follows: 10K and 5K Run: $25 per person / *($30 the day of the race) 1-Mile Walk: $20 per person / *($25 the day of the walk) Team discount: $15 per team member (10-person minimum to qualify & must register together) For an extra $5 the name of an Officer on the Honor Roll Call will be placed on the shirt AWARDS & PRIZES: First 200 runners receive a T-shirt. Refreshments at the end of the race for all participants. Trophies to the top 3 overall male and female winners and a trophy to the largest team. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female winners in the various age groups.
