The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association held its monthly General Membership meeting on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Members and their families ate dinner, listened to Claudia Ordaz, candidate for City Council Representative, District 6, and participated as several items on the agenda were discussed. Among them were nominations for Class II Directors at Region II (MVRC), Region IV (NERC) and Region VI (Headquarters).
President Ron Martin opened up the floor to nominations for Directors at the respective regions with the following results:

Those nominated will be contacted to determine whether or not they accept the nomination and are willing to run or serve as representative for their region. If necessary, an election will be scheduled during the month of August. If an election is not required, as in the case of Region IV, if the nominees accept, they will automatically become directors upon being sworn in with the others at the annual EPMPOA Installation & Service Awards banquet in October.
