The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Sergeant Bruce Goff #105.  (Ret.) Sgt. Goff passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the age of 83.  

(Ret.) Sgt. Goff served the El Paso community as a peace officer from March 1961 until retiring in September of 1986.  Bruce was an original member of the El Paso Police Department’s SWAT Team.  He also served as department armorer at the Training Academy from October 1988 until October 2001. 

Funeral Services for Bruce Goff are as follows:

VISITATION:  Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass

PRAYER SERVICE and BURIAL:  Friday, July 11, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery
