Relatives of Officer Jonathan Molina and Juan Antonio "Johnny" Gonzalez, the man convicted of fatally beating Molina in 2012, reacted with sadness and anger after jurors sentenced Gonzalez to 50 years in prison.
Gonzalez, 19, will be eligible for parole after serving half of his sentence. Gonzalez, who has been jailed since Sept. 26, 2012, will be credited for time served while awaiting trial.
