Ron Martin, President of the El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association is getting “locked-up”… He’s going to be a jailbird and is proud of it! Mr. Martin is participating in this year’s MDA Lock-Up to help raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and he needs your donations to help him “raise bail.”

The MDA Lockup will take place today, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Landry’s Seafood Restaurant, 6801 Gateway West Blvd. While it's not a real jail, it's even more important, as he is raising bail to help children and adults with muscle disease in our community who are supported by the vital work of the MDA. The MDA is dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and other neuromuscular diseases. At the same time, the Association provides health care and support services for people living with these diseases — right here in El Paso.
