The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of former Officer Gerald J. Laneaux Jr. #885, who passed away on January 31, 2020.  Former Officer Laneaux served with the El Paso Police Department for approximately 10 years, from October 1983 until September 8, 1993.   

Funeral Services for former Officer Gerald Laneaux Jr. are as follows:

Tuesday, February 11, 2020:

-Visitation: 5:00 to 9:00 PM at San Jose Funeral Home-East, 10950 Pellicano Dr. 

-Prayer Serivce at 7:00 PM

Wednesday, February 12, 2020:

-Funeral Service: at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3201 Frutas Ave.

Mr. Laneaux will then receive a private burial in Louisiana.
