The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Officer James H. Johnson #419, who passed away on May 4, 2019 at the age of 73.  (Ret.) Officer Johnson served with the El Paso Police Department for 19+ years, from May 1974 until he was medically retired in October 1993.  Prior to joining the EPPD, (Ret.) Officer Johnson was in the United States Marines and served in Vietnam.

Funeral Services for (Ret.) Officer James Harold Johnson are as follows:

-Monday, May 13, 2019:

-A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 4710 Hercules Ave.

-A Committal Service will be held at a later date.  

Retired Officer James H. Johnson will receive Retired Police Honors.
