The El Paso County Sheriff's Officers Association will be hosting a cookout fundraiser to benefit the family of Fallen Detention Officer Joseph Gomez. The cookout will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, at the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Headquarters, 3850 Justice. Those who make a generous donation will receive a hot dog, hamburger, potato salad, nachos and a drink.

Following the cookout, a candlelight vigil for Joe Gomez will be held at 6:30 PM, also at the El Paso County Sheriff's Office headquarters.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association joins the community in mourning the loss of Joseph E. Gomez.  We ask that you please keep the entire Gomez Family in your thoughts and prayers.
