The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Detective George B. Cumber #165. He passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 79. (Ret.) Det. Cumber served with the El Paso Police Department for 20+ years, from December 1966 until his retirement on March 31, 1987. 

Funeral Services for (Ret.) Detective George Bernard Cumber are as follows:

Wednesday, July 8, 2020:

-Visitation:  12:00 to 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3400 E. Wyoming Ave.

-A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 PM, at Mt.Zion Baptist Church

(Ret.) Detective George B. Cumber will receive Retired Police Honors.

Due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic only ten persons are allowed to attend funeral services.  This private funeral service is limited to immediate family only.
