The El Paso Police Department has added twenty-nine (29) officers to their ranks after the graduation of the 127th academy class on Monday, October 26, 2020. This class also graduated two Fire Marshalls assigned to the El Paso Fire Department. The new police officers have been assigned to patrol duties at the various Police Regional Command Centers.

The 127th Academy Class graduated six female officers and twenty-three male officers, all of whom signed up as members of the El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association.  The El Paso Police Department now has grown to approximately 1,190 officers. Congratulations to the members of the 127th Police Academy Class!
