The El Paso Police Department faces budgetary and staffing challenges as the city deals with the financial fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, police Chief Greg Allen said at a community meeting this week.
Allen took questions Wednesday evening in an hourlong virtual video meeting with about 15 people hosted by Eastridge-Mid-Valley city Rep. Henry Rivera, a retired police officer who once worked with Allen.
