The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the death of Retired Detective Larry R. Adkins #437, who passed away on March 20, 2020 at the age of 73. (Ret.) Detective Adkins served with the El Paso Police Department for 28+ years, from March 1975 until his retirement in July of 2003. Mr. Adkins then went on to work with Customs and Border Protection. 

Memorial Service for (Ret.) Detective Larry R. Adkins is as follows:

Monday, July 19, 2021 at 9:00 AM at the El Paso Police Academy, 2300 Scenic Drive. 

Retired Detective Adkins will receive Retired Police Honors.
