The family of an El Paso man shot in 2015 by a police officer will be awarded $1.2 million in lawsuit settlement with city.
A settlement was reached between the city of El Paso and the family of Erik Salas-Sanchez, 7 years following the 22-year-old's death.
Salas-Sanchez was shot dead in 2015 when Mando Kenneth Gomez, an El Paso police officer, fired his weapon.
