The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association encourages its members to participate in a blood drive being held by Vitalant at the Central Regional Command Center on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The blood drive will take place in Vitalant's Blood Mobile. Donors will receive a free movie ticket, T-shirt, and insulated bag.

In an emergency its the blood already on the shelves that saves lives. The need for type "O" is especially critical. Type "O" is the most transfused blood type. "O-Negative" is what emergency room personnel reach for when there is not time to determine a patient's blood type.

Right now, Vitalant has an urgent need for blood donors of all types to make an appointment to help save lives.
