A Hero Walk was held at Del Sol Medical Center on Friday to honor fallen El Paso Police Officer Fernando De La Torre.
The cause of De La Torre's death was not provided.
Officer De La Torre's family along with staff at Del Sol Medical Center quietly lined the walls of the hospital to honor the patient and show respect for his family. A Hero Walk takes place when a donor patient on life support is transferred to the operating room for organ donation.
