El Paso police officers promote literacy at local library event

Officers from the El Paso Police Department made a special visit to Esperanza Moreno Library as part of their summer library program, reading to children and fostering community relationships.

The event aimed to encourage literacy and build positive connections between officers, children, and parents in the patrol area, according to a press release from the El Paso Police Department. The officers read books to the children, demonstrating that reading is essential in all occupations.
