(Ret.) Detective Ybarra served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 25+ years.

(Ret.) Detective Jones served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 24+ years. He was commissioned by the El Paso Police Department on March 27, 1961 and retired on April 2, 1985.

The City of El Paso has partnered with BHS Physicians Network for the operation of wellness clinics for City employees and retirees who have the City's health insurance coverage, effective Monday, August 3, 2020. Employees and covered family members over age 18 and retirees with coverage will now have access to the current on-site clinic at City Hall and nine off-site clinics.
The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Detective George B. Cumber #165. He passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 79. (Ret.) Det. Cumber served with the El Paso Police Department for 20+ years, from December 1966 until his retirement on March 31, 1987.
