The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Lieutenant Yves J. Fortin #146, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 90. (Ret.) Lieutenant Fortin served with the El Paso Police Department for 26 years, from October 1960, until his retirement on September 10, 1986.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Sergeant Santos "Sonny" Perez #1587, who passed away on December 2, 2022 at the age of 52. (Ret.) Sergeant Perez served with the El Paso Police Department for 24+ years, from August of 1993, until his retirement on October 21, 2022.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Detective Martin Beltran #152, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 79. (Ret.) Detective Beltran served with the El Paso Police Department for 22+ years, from February 1966, until his retirement on June 14, 1988.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sponsoring a fundraising lunch to benefit Officer Jenna Rosales #3578. The event, hosted by the Westside Regional Command Center, will be held at 4801 Osborne Dr., in the Officer Andrew Barcena Community Conference Room. The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will hold its annual Children's Christmas Party on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will feature food (hamburgers, hotdogs with all the fixings, chips and drinks!), arts and crafts, games, and a lot of fun.
