The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association in conjunction with the El Paso Fallen Officers Memorial Foundation will host the Fourth Annual Fallen Officers Memorial Car Show on Saturday, April 4, 2020.  The event will be held at the Southwest University Diesel Shop located at 6500 Montana Ave. (inside and outside).

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Officer Gilbert R. Federico #134, who passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 80.  (Ret.) Officer Federico served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 20+ years.  He was commissioned by the El Paso Police Department on May 22, 1964 and retired on September 4, 1984.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Detective Richard B. Allbee Jr., #2171, who died on February 9, 2020 while off-duty, after being involved in a traffic crash with a suspected drunk driver in Arizona.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Lieutenant Fernando Pena Jr., #111, on February 12, at the age of 82.  (Ret.) Lt. Pena served with the El Paso Police Department for 21 years, from June 1961 until his retirement on June 21, 1982.    Funeral Services for (Ret.) Lieutenant Fernando Pena Jr.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the death of Officer Jesus M. Munoz #2874, who passed away at his home on February 12, 2020 at the age of 31.  Officer Munoz served with the El Paso Police Department for almost 8 years, since March 2012.    Funeral Services for Officer Jesus M.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sponsoring a "Wing Drive" lunch to benefit the family of Detective Richard Allbee Jr., who passed away on February 9, 2020 as a result of a tragic vehicle crash involving a suspected drunk driver in Arizona.  This event is to raise money to assist his family with medical expenses and other unplanned expenses.

All EPMPOA members are invited to participate in the 10th Annual "Jail Break" Half Marathon and 5K Runs that will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Lee College in Baytown, Texas (outside of Houston).  The "Jail Break Run" is brought to you annually by the police charity - Project Blue.  The half-marathon was designed by runners for runners.
