The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association encourages all members to attend the El Paso Police Department's Promotion Ceremony at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.  The ceremony will take place at the El Paso Regional Communications Center located at 6055 Threadgill Ave.

Special Traffic Investigators were called to investigate a crash that involved an unmarked police vehicle New Years Eve morning. The crash happened Tuesday morning at 10:35 a.m. near the intersection of Gateway East and Lomaland. According to police reports, Rene Diaz, 50, was driving northbound on Lomaland heading towards Gateway East when he failed to stop at a red light.

"El Paso Cops Helping Kids" along with the EPMPOA will host a Christmas shopping event at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2019.  The event will be held at the Wal-Mart located at 4530 Woodrow Bean Transmountain Rd. in northeast El Paso.

El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen gave his approval for a "No Shave November Event" and was gracious enough to extend it through the month of December (to include uniformed personnel)! The criteria are listed below:

El Paso Elks Lodge #187 is inviting all El Paso area First Responders to an Appreciation Dinner from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the Fire Fighters Hall, 3112 Forney Lane.

The Central Regional Command Center Metro Section is hosting a fundraising cookout to benefit Officer Desi Wesenberg #3086 and his family.  This event is to raise money to assist with medical and other unplanned expenses from the recent death of their four month baby daughter Harper.

Today is Election Day for the November 2019 Uniform Election. If you did not vote during the early voting period held October 21 through November 1, 2019, please make sure that you vote today! Remember, you must vote at your designated precinct. Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We have attached a copy of the Election Day Polling Places list for download.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will hold its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament at 8:00 AM on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Horizon Golf Club and Conference Center, 16000 Ashford St. in Horizon City, Texas. The golf tournament is the police association's fund raiser to benefit the Ben Ayala Scholarship Fund.
