The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sponsoring a "Wing Drive" lunch to benefit Region III (PHRCC) Officer Patrick "Fish" Martinez #2421 and his family.  This event is to raise money to assist them with medical expenses and other unplanned expenses, causing a financial hardship.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will host the Annual Member Picnic at Wet-N-Wild Waterworld on Saturday July 27, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.   Aside from the usual fun on rides in the water... • There will be free beer and sodas, plus some grills will be available for free (while supplies last) • The park will open at 1000 hrs.

The El Paso Police Department posted a photo on Facebook of Officer Daniel Rodriguez standing up and using a walker in the hospital. Rodriguez was driving a motorcycle while escorting a funeral procession when he was struck by a driver trying to cut through the procession on May 23.

As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, one of the leading causes of medical emergencies is fireworks. Children often receive burns on the hands and face by playing with fireworks. Often thought of as safe, even sparklers, can reach temperatures of up to 1,200 degrees. Additionally, the Fourth of July presents the most significant fire danger compared to other holidays.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Sergeant Jesus A. Ayala #399, who passed away on June 15, 2019 at the age of 67.  (Ret.) Sergeant Ayala served with the El Paso Police Department for 25+ years, from May 1974 until his retirement in July of 1999.   Funeral Services for (Ret.) Sergeant Jesus A.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is hosting its Second Annual Top Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 23, 2019, from 12 Noon to 3:00 PM.  This family friendly tournament is a fundraiser to benefit the EPMPOA's Ben Ayala Scholarship Fund.  Top Golf is located at 365 Vin Rambla Drive.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Detective Asa B. Tatum Jr., #394, who passed away on May 31, 2019 at the age of 81.  (Ret.) An El Paso Police Department officer was critically injured on Thursday morning, May 23, 2019, after he was hit and run over by a driver who cut through a funeral procession the officer was escorting.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association and the El Paso Police Department will hold the Annual Fallen Officers Memorial Ceremony at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Chuck Heinrich Park, located at 11055 Andrew Barcena Dr.  The park and the street on which it is located are both named in honor of fallen El Paso Police Officers.
