The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is hosting its 22nd Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, October 26, 2018, at the Horizon Country Club Golf Course, 16000 Ashford St. The 4-person per team scramble will kickoff at 8:00 AM.  This tournament is a fundraiser to benefit the EPMPOA's Ben Ayala Scholarship Fund.

The Inaugural Officer David Ortiz Memorial Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at David Ortiz Recreation Center (formerly Carolina Recreation Center).  Early bird registration is $25 (by October 19) and $30 on the day of the event.  The first 50 registrants will receive a free T-shirt.  Click here for the link to registrer online.

Floyd East Jr. (Texas Tech PD Officer and El Pasoan) was killed in the line of duty on October 9th, 2017.  His wife, Carmen East started a foundation in his honor.  The TEXAS635 FOUNDATION assists Law Enforcement families around the country who have lost a loved one in the Line of Duty, with a donation to assist them during that difficult time.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sponsoring a "Wing Drive" lunch to benefit Region VI (Headquarters) Auto Theft Detective Andrew Fonseca and his family.  This event is to raise money to assist the family with funeral expenses related to the recent passing of his son.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association encourages all members to attend the El Paso Police Department's Promotion Ceremony on Friday, September 28, 2018.  The ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM in the AV Theater Room at the Wyndham Aiport Hotel, 2027 Airway Blvd.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of retired Detective Nancy J. Schneider #438, who passed away on July 30, 2018, at the age of 66.   (Ret.) Detective Schneider served the El Paso community as a peace officer for 21+ years.  She was commissioned by the El Paso Police Department on March 21, 1975 and retired on November 29, 1996.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association invites all members to attend the El Paso Police Department's Promotion Ceremony on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.  The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM and will take place at the 9-1-1 Communications Center, 6055 Threadgill Ave. The following member will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant: Linda Hanner #2234.
