Tuesday, May 22 is Election Day for the May 2018 Primary Runoffs.  Early voting will be held next week from May 14 through May 18.

The 5th Annual EPMPOA Fallen Officers Memorial Run will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2018, starting at 8:00 AM.  This year the race will start at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 8889 Gateway West Blvd. at the Fountains at Farah.  This year's race is in memory of Officer Karl McDonough #2703 and our other fallen heroes.

Officer Carlos Ponce's (#2153) father suffered a medical issue on Saturday, April 21, 2018.  He is currently sedated in the Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital.  Needless to say, hospital and doctor bills are beginning to pile up and cause a financial strain on the family,  Officer Ponce's mother had to quit her job to take care of her husband.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sponsoring a "Wing Drive" lunch to benefit Region III (PHRC) Sergeant Jose Sierra and his family to assist her with expenses related to his wife's illness and pending surgery and recovery.

The week of April 8-14 marks this year's National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.  Please take the time to appreciate and thank the dedicated professionals who staff our Communications center, as these devoted public servants work quietly on the front lines of emergencies, serving as "the first of our first responders.

Join us for the 2nd Annual EPMPOA Fallen Officers’ Memorial Car Show on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Southwest University Diesel Shop located at 6500 Montana Ave.  Proceeds will go toward the remodeling of the Police Memorial located at Chuck Heinrich Park.

"El Paso Cops Helping Kids" along with the EPMPOA will host a Christmas shopping event on Saturday morning, December 16, 2017, to assist school children from the Ysleta Independent School District.  The event will be held at a local Wal-Mart (exact location is being finalized at this time).
