An El Paso police motorcycle officer was fighting for his life after being injured in a chain-reaction accident Thursday afternoon on Lee Treviño Drive, authorities said. The accident occurred at about 3:15 p.m. while the officer was stopped in a line at a red light in the 1500 block of Lee Treviño Drive at Vista Del Sol Drive, officials said.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association reminds you that today is "Super Tuesday" Election Day for the March Primaries. Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We ask that you please support our endorsed candidates with your vote.

The University of Texas Police at Houston (UT Police) is currently accepting applications for a Senior Detective.  The EPMPOA encourages eligible members to look into this "retirement Job" in Houston, where earning upwards of $100,000 a year is possible. The University of Texas Police at Houston (UT Police) is a member of the University of Texas System Police.

Pension Members, The Forward DROP voting has ended and below are the tallies.  I am happy to inform you all that the Forward DROP vote has passed for both the Fire Department and the Police Department.  Over 50% of each side had to vote “yes” for the Forward DROP to pass and this was accomplished.

         The Board of Trustees of the El Paso Firemen and Policemen's Pension Fund is asking for your “yes” vote in order to make your pension fund stronger for the future of all members.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will hold its annual Children's Christmas Party on Sunday, December 20, 2015, starting at approximately 12:00 PM.  The event will feature great food (hamburgers, hotdogs with all the fixings, plus drinks!), arts and crafts, games, prizes and a lot of fun!  Plus, Santa Claus will be on hand for family photos.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is hosting the 3rd Annual "Turkey Bowl" Flag Football Tournament just in time for Thanksgiving!  The tournament is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 21, 2015.  Games will be held at XMotoball Sports Park (home of the West Texas Youth Football League)located at 14372 Loving Lane in east El Paso County.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association reminds you that the early voting period has begun for the November Uniform Election.  Early voting is from Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30, 2015.  Election Day is on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
