ELECTION OF OFFICERS Socorro Education Association The time has come for the membership of SEA to express themselvs through the democratic process. The assocation will elect its new leadership team. Your voice, yor vote, is extremely important. SEA will be an association guided by members for members.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, representatives from Affion Public met  with El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser and City Council members in Executive Session to go through selected applications and chose candidates to advance to the interview stage in the search to replace Joyce Wilson as City Manager.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association will hold the inaugural Fallen Officers Memorial Run, in memory of Officers Angel Garcia and Jonathan Molina, on Saturday, May 24, 2014. There will be 10K and 5K races as well as a 1-mile walk. All events will begin and end at the EPMPOA Memorial Hall, 3601 Rutherglen St.

EL PASO, Texas - In less than a week, the El Paso Chihuahuas will be playing ball in Southwest University Park Downtown.That not only means changes for the Downtown community, but also for El Paso police.With at least 9,000 fans expected for opening day on Monday, April 28, there will be a lot of people and traffic making their way through Downtown.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers Association is sad to announce the passing of one of its members.  Officer Alejandro “Alex” Guerra #2078 passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 after he had been admitted to the hospital a week prior.
