  The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sad to announce the death of a retired police officer.    Former Captain Gerald Prichard passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the age of 84.  Captain Prichard served the El Paso community for almost 24 years.

  The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association along with the El Paso Police Department invite the Law Enforcement community in receiving the U.S. Honor Flag as it arrives in El Paso in honor of fallen Officer Angel Garcia #2866.  The Honor Flag will arrive at the El Paso International Airport today, December 19, 2012 on American Airlines Flight #891 at 10:20 AM.

  The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association once again mourns the tragic death of one of its officers.  Word began to quickly spread early on Sunday morning after it was learned that an El Paso Police Officer had been involved in a traffic accident on Interstate 10 East across from Cielo Vista Mall.

  The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association will host its annual “Cops Helping Kids” Christmas event this Saturday, December 15, 2012. The program will take place at Target, 801 Sunland Park Dr., and will begin with officers arriving at 7:30 AM.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is once again saddened to announce the death of another retired member.  Retired Lieutenant David Spencer #221, age 64, recently passed away in Denton, Texas.    Mr.
