The EPMPOA Board and CLEAT Staff Attorney Jim Jopling were at a Mediation meeting with staff from the City of El Paso at City Hall on September 13, 2012, regarding the pending wage scales grievances.  The attempt to mediate this matter, prior to going to arbitration, scheduled for September 19, 2012, began at approximately 0800 hrs.  Your EPMPOA Board of Directors had a 15-hour day fighting for each and everyone of its members.  At the end of the day, both City Hall staff (J. Wilson) and your EPMPOA board came to a tentative agreement.  Specific details and language as to the agreement will be worked out at another session on September 19, 2012.   President Ron Martin, CLEAT Attorney Jim Jopling, and your board will address the membership at the monthly General Membership meeting on Thursday, September 20, 2012.  Please attend the meeting to get a complete synopsis of what happened.

Respectfully,

Your EPMPOA Board.
