The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the death of Retired Officer Luis (Louie) Cortinas #369, who passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 69. (Ret.) Officer Cortinas served with the El Paso Police Department for 30+ years, from June 1973 until his retirement in September of 2003.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association is sponsoring a fundraising cookout (burgers & hotdogs) to benefit Officer Saul Villalobos #2053. It is being hosted by the EPMPOA, Westside Regional Command Center and Airport Operations and will be held at the Westside Regional Command Center on Friday May, 28, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The El Paso Police Department and the El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association invites everyone to the 2021 Fallen Officers Memorial Ceremony to be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2021. Election Day for the May 2021 Uniform Election is on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Attached is a copy of the list of voting locations for viewing and/or download. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Officer Harold G. (Harry) Behl #383, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 71. (Ret.) Officer Behl served with the El Paso Police Department for 24+ years, from January 1974 until his retirement in July of 1998. Prior to joining the EPPD, (Ret.) Officer Behl served in the U.S.

The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association encourages its members to participate in a blood drive being held by Vitalant at the Central Regional Command Center on Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The blood drive will take place in Vitalant's Blood Mobile.
