After washing their hands, two El Paso Police officers seemed to take to their temporary jobs behind the counter at Starbucks, pouring on the charm while pouring coffee.
Officer Jared Lamb, who joked that his nickname used to be Cold Brew, had fun calling out names loudly, even though customers were close by.
"Ruben! Thanks a latte," Lamb quipped as a customer picked up his order.
The two bike patrol officers, Lamb and Charles Burns, are participating in Coffee with a Cup this week at the Starbucks they frequent next to the Plaza Theatre. The two are part of the metro unit Downtown.
