One man was hospitalized for injuries he allegedly sustained while resisting arrest after a police pursuit, officials said Thursday morning.

The man, who has not been identified, was allegedly speeding on Interstate 10 westbound near Artcraft Road, El Paso Police Department spokesman Sgt. Enrique Carrillo said. 

Motorcyle police on duty in the area attempted to pull him over, but the man instead swerved into one of them, Carrillo said.
