A detective with the El Paso Police Department was killed in a crash in Arizona on Sunday.

Officials with El Paso police identified the detective as 51-year-old Richard Allbee.

The two-vehicle crash happened on Sunday around 6:19 p.m. on U.S. 70 near Bylas, Arizona.
