Coronavirus leading cause of law enforcement deaths in early 2021

Coronavirus was the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths for law enforcement officers in the United States during the first half of 2021, a report released by a nonprofit organization shows.
The report, issued by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, revealed that 71 officers died from coronavirus from the beginning of the year until June 30.
